Mind2Mind is built around meditation, reflection, and shared practice. This policy explains the information we collect to provide the app experience and how you can manage your data.

Overview

Mind2Mind is a meditation app for private practice, scheduled sessions, circles, reflection, and shared moments of stillness.

We collect only the information needed to create and manage your account, provide meditation features, support subscriptions, improve the app, communicate with users, and maintain safety and security.

Mind2Mind is not a medical, mental health, or therapy service. Information you provide in the app should not be used as a substitute for professional medical or mental health advice.

Depending on how you use Mind2Mind, we may collect the following types of information:

Account Information:

  • Name or display name
  • Email address
  • Authentication information
  • Profile preferences
  • Account settings

Meditation and App Activity:

  • Meditation sessions created, joined, or completed
  • Scheduled meditation participation
  • Circle membership or circle participation
  • Meditation duration and session status
  • Reflection entries
  • Emotional check-ins before or after meditation
  • Meditation preferences and settings

Optional Information:

  • Profile photo or image, if uploaded
  • Location, city, region, or timezone, if enabled or provided

Mind2Mind does not directly store full credit card numbers when payments are processed by third-party platforms such as Google Play, Apple, or another payment provider.

How We Use Information

AI-Generated Meditation Content

Mind2Mind may use AI systems or third-party AI providers to help generate meditation scripts, guided meditation content, reflection summaries, intention support, or related wellness content.

When AI features are used, information you provide may be processed to generate personalized or session-specific content. This may include meditation intention, selected preferences, reflection text, emotional check-ins, or session context.

Mind2Mind does not use AI-generated content as medical advice, therapy, diagnosis, or treatment. AI-generated meditation content is for wellness, reflection, and personal practice only.

Users should avoid entering sensitive personal, medical, financial, legal, or emergency information into meditation prompts, reflections, or support fields unless necessary.

How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information.

We may share information with service providers that help us operate Mind2Mind, including:

  • Cloud hosting and database providers
  • Authentication providers
  • Analytics and crash reporting providers
  • Payment and subscription providers
  • Email/newsletter providers
  • Customer support tools
  • AI content generation providers, when AI features are used

We may also share or disclose information when needed to:

  • Comply with law, regulation, legal process, or government request
  • Enforce our Terms of Service
  • Protect Mind2Mind, users, or the public from harm, fraud, abuse, or security threats
  • Complete a business transfer such as merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets

Third-Party Services

Mind2Mind may use third-party services to operate the app and website. These may include services such as:

  • Firebase Firestore
  • Firebase Analytics
  • Crash reporting or diagnostics tools
  • Google Play Billing
  • Apple App Store subscriptions
  • Another payment provider if a future payment flow becomes available

These third-party services may process information according to their own privacy policies and terms.

Location and Timezone Information

Mind2Mind may use location, region, or timezone information to support scheduled sessions, meditation timing, global participation features, reminders, or app personalization.

Precise location is not required for the core meditation experience unless a feature specifically asks for it and the user grants permission.

If location permissions are used, users can manage permissions through their device settings.

Newsletter and Marketing Emails

If you subscribe to the Mind2Mind newsletter, we may use your email address to send launch updates, product news, meditation notes, early access announcements, or related communications.

Newsletter subscriptions are separate from paid Mind2Mind subscriptions.

You can unsubscribe from marketing emails using the unsubscribe link in the email or through Newsletter Preferences.

Subscriptions and Payments

Paid subscriptions may be processed through Google Play, the Apple App Store, or another payment provider.

Mind2Mind may receive subscription status, plan type, trial status, renewal status, cancellation status, or transaction reference information from these platforms.

Mind2Mind does not directly store full payment card numbers when payments are processed by third-party platforms.

Deleting your Mind2Mind account does not automatically cancel an active Google Play or Apple App Store subscription. To stop future billing, cancel your subscription through the platform where you subscribed.

Data Retention

We retain information for as long as needed to provide Mind2Mind, maintain accounts, support subscriptions, improve the app, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, prevent fraud, and enforce our agreements.

Some data may be deleted, anonymized, or aggregated when it is no longer needed.

Aggregated or anonymized information that does not identify an individual may be retained for analytics, research, reporting, or product improvement.

Account Deletion

Users can request deletion of their Mind2Mind account and eligible account data.

Account deletion may remove or anonymize eligible profile data, meditation history, reflections, emotional check-ins, preferences, and related app activity connected to the account.

Some information may be retained when required for legal, security, fraud prevention, billing, tax, dispute, or compliance reasons.

Deleting your account does not automatically cancel an active subscription. Subscription cancellation must be completed through the platform where you subscribed.

Security

Mind2Mind uses reasonable technical, administrative, and organizational measures to protect user information.

No system can guarantee perfect security. Users should protect their account credentials and email support@mymind2mind.com if they believe their account or information has been compromised.

Children's Privacy

Mind2Mind is not intended for children under 13.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under 13, we will take appropriate steps to delete it.

If a higher minimum age is required by law in a user's region, that higher age requirement applies.

User Choices and Controls

Users may be able to:

  • Update account profile information
  • Manage notification permissions
  • Manage location permissions through device settings
  • Subscribe or unsubscribe from newsletter emails
  • Request account deletion

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make changes, we will update the Effective Date above.

If changes are significant, we may provide additional notice through the app, website, email, or another appropriate method.
